This excellent site has a number of very stylish looking free Java weather applets that scroll the UK and Irelands weather forecasts in a very nice looking interface. There are 3 free options available and a number of low cost ones for a more customised requirement. COST: Free and some low costMeoSat (The University of Nottingham) An extremly popular MeoSat satellite image service from The University of Nottingham. WeatherForYou A nice selection of HTML and a few choices of Java scrollers. Beware of the scrollers they take users offsite. The HTML will have to be changed to launch the data in a new window. They also claim they will tailor a package for you FOR FREE if you have more than 10 visitors per hour. COST: FreeWX.com The best options out of what is available here are their weather magnets and local radar image. Although the default html will cause the user to go off site, it is easy enough to modify the code so it launches in a separate window. There is also a free 5 day forecast but it needs to be launched in a frame. COST: FreeWeather.com A very professional weather magnet or detailed overview of the weather can be embedded on your site. Although if you want to display many weather magnets at your site the process to find the right international URL can be tedious.
