However, one of the conditions to get free co-branding is you need at least 1 million page views per month. If you don't have that kind of traffic then the cost of the content is quite reasonable starting from around $50 per month. COST: FreeGravityDex An excellent adventure sports directory that they will cobrand for you inside your own web templates, the content being extracted from their site and shown transparently on yours. COST: FreeVirtual Tourist - Highly Recommended If you qualify for thier FREE co-branding option, this is fantastic content to add. Tight integration, award winning content and an active community of travellers make this a highly desirable addition to any travel orientated website. Instant Directory Add the Open Directory Project to your website with a few lines of HTML. It does add adverts into the feed though unlike some of the others on offer. COST: Free4PortalSites You can add their search engine to your site with the results returning in a co-branded page. COST: FreePortalScripts - Highly Recommended An excellent addition for your site. If you need more customisation than Digital Windmill to display the entire Open Directory Project or just well defined subsets, then this is for you. There is a non-supported free version and an excellently supported $99 version that allows you to fully customise the script and take out the POWERED BY PORTALSCRIPTS from the footer. You will need to tinker with the scripts and have a bit of programming experience. There are a few versions available and there is an ASP version written in PerlScript - Most IIS servers support this, just ask them if they support ActiveState Perl. Install it and create your templates, then add the Moreover and Amazon plugins that will list news and books relevent to the topic being viewed. COST: Free and $99Industry Search - Highly Recommended An excellent directory of Australian industry to add to your site. Although the target information can pop up in smaller windows, it is tastefully done so as not to detract from your website. COST: Free |
